Audi S4 Cars Picture Of Audi S4 Cars

In 1994, Audi stopped using the name 100 and called the car the A6. This resulted in the S4 now being called the S6. The changes were minor to the new cars, with only a plus model being sold with a V8 engine. In 1997, the A6 was changed and a new model based on the C5 chassis was brought in. This meant that the S4 and S6 models were now different from each other. The new S4 was introduced on the B5 platform in Europe in 97, though the car was unavailable in North America until 2000. The new S4 was introduced with a 2.7 liter V6 Engine. The S4 could achieve a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in 5.6 seconds. This made the S4 sedan the fastest car among all sedan models available in the market. In 1998 Avant version of the S4 a wagon became available.
